Nice. The following Giants are inactive for today’s game vs. the Raiders:

Danny Ware
Kevin Boss
Adam Koets
Chris Canty
Aaron Ross
Michael Boley
Bryan Kehl

So it seems Hixon will play. That’s cool. And Moss. That’s not so cool unless the guy finally does something to warrant a 2nd round pick.

We might see Clint Sintim in action finally. Maybe a bit of Travis Beckum as well.

Since Steve Smith is already solid, if those 2 guys emerge as real weapons, and a case can be made that Hixon already has emerged, then the Giants receiving corps should be able to get the job done.

You might say that the same three guys plus Toomer didn’t get it done at the end of last season, but I blame Manning more than anyone for the playoff loss.

Seattle had no answer to the Giants run game and Manning was very accurate: 19-of-25 for 267 yards, 2 touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Even David Carr got in on the action with a TD pass. Was this the first time in NFL history that two #1 overall pick quarterbacks threw a touchdown pass to the in the same game for the same team and even to the same receiver? And who would have guessed that the receiver would be Sinorice Moss. Giants fans wondering what would happen to Moss are still wondering since he’s starting to look like a keeper…

The defense also owned Seattle all day giving up only 2 field goals. No one had a ton of tackles (Aaron Ross led the Giants with 6) but then again, Seattle didn’t really have the ball much.

WR Domenik Hixon and RT Kareem McKenzie had to leave the game with concussions. Get well soon guys!
