      Watch Beatty tonight

      Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

First, I’m not sure where he’ll be playing but this article says he’s fighting for a starting job. I don’t see him winning the left tackle spot over Diehl and I don’t see him beating out McKenzie on the right so I’m not so sure about that. But it will be interesting to see what happens to him and his play tonight will certainly give us a clue.

What to watch for: Giants vs. Redskins

      Friday, December 18th, 2009

Obviously we’ll watch to see if the Giants defense decides to take another Sunday off, but one interesting player to watch will be William Beatty. They say he’s a natural left tackle and feels more comfortable on the left but apparently he’s the best the Giants can do at right tackle while Kareem McKenzie is hurt. Let’s see how this guy plays because he’s supposed to become our next left tackle (what happened to Guy Whimper I wonder?).

Giants get smacked around by Cowboys

      Monday, December 15th, 2008

The Giants lost their second game in a row. This one wasn’t quite as painful as the Philly game because our defense didn’t get pushed around too badly. I’m not saying that the defense played great or anything, but they weren’t painful to watch (other than a few missed tackles).

The offense, however, got spanked. Manning was sacked 8 times which shouldn’t really happen in an NFL game because professionals aren’t supposed to get beaten so often… I hope Seubert and McKenzie are both OK and I don’t mean to add insult to injury, but they did both get their butts whooped before getting hurt. Diehl played the worst I’ve ever seen him play so overall I’d say the offensive line had a pretty bad day…

Kareem McKenzie arrested for DUI, will play

      Friday, November 14th, 2008

This article makes it sounds like there won’t be any suspension because the NFL usually just fines a player for their first offense. Hopefully there are no aggravating circumstances because we would certainly see a dropoff if Kareem McKenzie can’t play.

Good article on Giants’ offensive line

      Thursday, October 30th, 2008

The Steelers have the league’s best defense but our offensive line played their front 7 very well, well enough for us to win the game. This article talks about some particular plays and stats as it praises the Giants’ offensive line, one of the top 5 lines in the league for sure. Are they the best in the league?
