Giants 3-0 after overtime win
Corey Webster had a great game vs. the former Chad Johnson and we h had 6 sacks but the Giants secondary had ups and downs as Cincinatti connected on enough pass plays – a lot fo short passes and a lot of yards picked up after the catch – to score 20 and push the game into overtime.
They just picked up over 100 yards rushing and they had a couple of nice runs that contributed to point scoring drives.
Jacobs couldn’t find much running room but Ward seemed to fare much better when he was in. But with the game on the line in overtime, Gilbride turned to the passing game where Burress and then Toomer delivered. Toomer’s sideline cacth at the end there was awesome.
Don’t want it to sound like I’m compaining too much. The Bengals fought hard against the Giants so fo course they had some nice catches, some nice runs (especiallay against Tollefson who was getting run on way too much), some defensive stops, etc.
