What will it take to lock up Brandon Jacobs for a while?

This article about Brandon Jacobs starts with the title that the Giants need sign him. Toward the end we get this quote: “A lot of money out there to be made,” he shouted in the winning locker room. “Free agent, baby.”
No doubt the Giants will have to pay Jacobs some serious cash to keep him around. This article mentions a few other big backs: “Reese and his boss, Ernie Accorsi, were thinking about guys like Earl Campbell and Kevin Mack and even Bronko Nagurski.”
