Rosenhaus stirring up trouble for Giants and Burress

      Wednesday, February 11th, 2009

According to the Star Ledger, the agent for Plaxico Burress, Drew Rosenhaus, reportedly sent an email to teams this week indicating that Burress (and Boldin and Chad Johnson) is available via trade.

The Giants are reportedly furious with the email, and assistant GM Kevin Abrams countered by notifying the league that New York has not authorized Rosenhaus to pursue a deal. Rosenhaus has since issued an apology.

Giants and Plaxico fighting over money?

      Sunday, February 8th, 2009

Ralph Vacchiano talks about the Gaints and Plax and money. The Giants don’t want to pay the man for shooting himself in the leg and missing the biggest part of the season. I can’t say I blame them but this has to hurt the chances of Burress coming back to the Giants next season…

Giants = 4th most valuable team in NFL

      Thursday, September 11th, 2008

      1. Cowboys @ $1.612 billion
      2. Redskins @ $1.538 billion
      3. Patriots @ $1.324 billion
      4. Giants @ $1.178 billion
      5. Jets @ $1.170 billion

Not that it matters much but I think it’s interesting.

Chance to invest in Giants season tickets

      Saturday, September 6th, 2008

If you’re on the 90 year waiting list for Giants season tickets, you may get a chance thanks to the new stadium. The Giants will be charging a one time personal seat license (PSL) fee for the right to purchase season tickets. The fee is $1,000 to $20,000 per seat.

In my opinion, this will mean more people selling their seats online and looking at the seat as an investment asset rather than a family tradition.

No Fun League going after players and fans

      Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Some have complained about the NFL cracking down on player celebrations. Now the NFL is cracking down on fan fun. The NFL fan conduct code says no more drunkeness so the next time you go to a Giants game, be aware of the rules. You can’t start tailgating as early and you could lose your season tickets if you misbehave.

Budweiser and Bud Light and new stadium

      Saturday, June 21st, 2008

Here’s an article about Bud and Bud Light’s relationship with the Giants and the Jets. Bud is going to have a big presence at the new stadium.

Agent for Plax and Shockey speaks but says nothing

      Sunday, June 15th, 2008

The Blue Screen reports on Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for both Plaxico Burress and Jermey Shockey. Seems like the dude is a politician in training the way he avoids almost every question…

      Giants visit Walter Reed

      Sunday, May 4th, 2008

The Giants visited the White House, but they also visited Walter Reed Medical Center – here’s the story about how our Giants interacted with wounded soldiers.

      Giants at the White House

      Friday, May 2nd, 2008

Here’s a bunch of quotes from Bush’s speech when the Giants visited the White House. To me, this is the most important part:

Lt. Col. Greg Gadson, the team’s inspiration this past season, was on hand and stood for the entire ceremony with the aid of his prosthetic legs. Lt. Col. Gadson lost both of his legs to a roadside bomb in Iraq.

“I’m proud to be on the stage with this man,” President Bush said to the team. “To me, it’s a symbol of your respect for our country and your patriotism that you let Greg Gadson be a part of this team. He’s got the Purple Heart, he’s got three bronze stars and now he’s got a Super Bowl ring – minted for a true giant.”

I don’t care if you think politics are bad and I hope you think war is bad. But Gadson’s story is an inspiring one – plus his inspiration helped the Giants win the Super Bowl…

      Matt Walsh seeking full protection

      Sunday, February 17th, 2008

Matt Walsh is willng to sell out his former employer as long as he doesn’t get in trouble. I don’t mean that in a bad way. I hope that all the information comes out. Cheating is bad for the NFL. Then again so is its officiating and they don’t do much about that…
