Are we Giants fans classless?
Add Tim Ehrens to my idiot list. The title of his article is 'Giants acting like sore winners' but in the article he just complains about his friends teasing him. I'm a Giants fan, and I can honestly say that I haven't done too much to make Patriots fans feel bad. And I certainly don't have a problem with the way our players celebrated their Super Bowl victory.

I'm a giants fan, and I will honestly say that if the super bowl had been a best of 7 series, I doubt we could have won 3 more times. but that doesn't make what the giants did that day any less significant. It seems to me that after years in the cellar, NE fans finally have something to chear about, and it's not just the patriots. I suspect they've become accoustomed to winning, and he seems to be trying to put some spin on the situation and make it seem like they still have the best team in the league. Well not that day they didn't. If this game went the other way, do you really think anyone up there would have stopped talking about the 19-0 season yet? Claims of best team of any time, would still be being debated, the writers up there would be pooring over every championship team in the last 100 years doing an analysis of why the Pats could have and would have beat them. Including that little team out of Penn, that had the title snatched away from then in the 20s when they played Notre Dame.

It wasn't the Giants who walked off the field before the game was over, it wasn't the Giants coaching team who tried to make excuses for the way they played, it wasn't the Giants coach who was not man enough to take losing gratiously and concratulate the other team on the air. Being a Giant fan since 1962, I enjoyed and savored the win and yes, I rubbed it into some of the Patriot fans that gave it to me all season. Giant fan in AZ.
