New York defeats Tampa Bay

So I wasn´t sure I´d get to see the Giants playoff game but I came across a sports bar in Madrid and after explaining how to make black russions was all set to watch the Giants beat Tampa Bay. It was pretty sweet.

The Giants passed, ran occasionally (though it would have been nice to get a couple of first downs running in the 4th), played well on specials, and played well on defense. What more can we ask for?

Despite this impressive performance I still have my doubts about beating Dallas but at least now I see that if we play as well as we did and win the turnover battle again there is a chance...

As shaky as he looked against Washington and the Vikings, Eli outclassed his competition yesterday. He has never looked better, checking down and looking off the safety when going to his primary receivers; throwing accurate balls with alot of velocity, changing plays at the line, he even got pumped up and let out a yell after Amani's TD on the last scoring drive. Eli has been impressive the last two weeks...who will show up in Dallas??

Feeling real good about our chances against Dallas. The last 3 games the Giants have shown REAL momentum. Right now, Dallas should be worried about Sunday's game. The Giant's season will almost be a wash if they let Dallas beat us 3x. Let's put an exclamation point on the season and stuff'em in their house. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!

Looks like the G men have some momentum. My cowboy friends seem a little less cocky, maybe the giants are in thier heads a little bit.Be nice to have To and Romo banged up for this game, everything helps.Heres to a giants week!

Yeah, there were drives that should have delivered from what I read (I didn't get to see the whole game)as well as saw. Let's face it, I think anyone who's watched the G-men for any length of time is somewhat skeptical about their chances for a W on any given Sunday. I'm a devoted fann. I lived in E. Rutherford when they buit Giant's Stadium for Pete's sake. But, especially since Eli signed on, it seem like ya gotta hedge your bets, hold your breath, and pray for these guys no matter HOW many points they're ahead. Still, they also have an uncanny record for comin back in the 4th quarther from daunting deficits. when it comes down to it, I believe in Eli, BUT right now I say god bless Burress, Toomer, and Jacobs for catching his throws. sometimes he can pass precisely, sometimes it's like he lost sight in one eye. And, let's not even talk about his proclivity for being sacked. the last few games, especially after giving the Pats a run for their money (rest, schmest!), even after that insane eye-poking incident,I have a new outlook for this team. I think a friend said it best--"maybe this is the year Eli really grows up." It would be nice to see them at least make the Play-Offs. However, the fact that's in question is very sad.
