Reese's skittish comment
On the one hand you want management to be honest, but on the other hand you don't want your team's GM to call your (hopefully) franchise QB skittish like Reese did to Eli. Do you think Reese made an error in judgement here or does Eli deserve to hear this from his GM?
Posted by James Trotta at November 28, 2007 11:49 PMExactly what the giants need. Someone needs to tell it like it is, the giants are not a very good football team. Yes, they have talent, but they are not playing with any consistency and they have not yet found a way to pull games out. Even when they have the lead and can put a team away with another score, they lack the urgency to do so.
This team is no better than those of the last several years and without a consistent running game, albeit due to injury, they may not even be as good.

Ross has been his one shining pick from last year's draft. He'd better have an absolutely stellar draft day this year or he'll be gettin' a pink slip sooner rather than later. Anybody get a comment from E. Accorsi re: The Eli perdicament? I thought not. -Wms07

Simms at November 29, 2007 8:15 PMshould have been done a long time ago.. remember phil simms was benched for poor performance. there doesnt appear to be any progress with him and his expressions on the field dont look like the motivator the team leader should be. where is the excitement and encouragement from him.
