This article mentions how the Giants defense will soon be tested by the team that spanked them on opening day. The fact that the Giants defense has been the league's best since week 3 is nice, but the Giants haven't played any good teams since week 1 or 2.
What do you think will happen after the bye? And who is rooting for the Eagles to beat the Cowboys this week?
Posted by James Trotta at November 1, 2007 8:55 PMDuring the opening game against the Cowgirls the Giants lost some key players during that game and still was able to score 35 points on the road. With these guys being healthy the Giants should win.

Posted by: James Trotta at November 2, 2007 11:59 PMWell I certainly have been pleasantly surprised since around week #2.5. Although We almost managed to get The Fish "off of The Schneid" with some uninspired play and Coach Coughlin and/or Gilbride's stubbornness. In weather & field conditions that looked like old file footage from Yankee Stadium, The Gmen strategists refused to go with their bread-n-butter: The 3 yards and clump of mud philosophy. We all hooted and hollered at Tynes for shankin' a gimme in practically his backyard but the curious play calling that occurred prior to this had me perplexed at best...really f'ing pissed at worst. Here we have a case of a staff over-thinking-it or "getting cute"...reminds me in part of The Fassel era....Your O-line is chomping-at-the-bit and Big B.J. is sliding for 5 yards upon hitting the sod (Rubie D. was sited as well--Finishing off his rushes quite nicely. Thank You.)and There goes Eli back to pass again, again, and A'Freakin'gain!!! Pound the Rock! It ain't glamorous. But if we'd have rushed the ball at least 15-20 more times we would've had mahi-mahi and some Pims by the 4th stanza. *Note to T.C. and K.G.:You play in 'Joisee' during wintah time and The crib where yous compete has some very tricky "jet streams and wind socks and whatnot"(Call P.Simms for tutorial) so you bettah be able run, Run, RUN!* When you're up you run(as The Oilers ol' Run-n-shoot could attest no deficit is too large when The Leader's up 4 TD and throwing the ball every play...Isn't that right O.C.Gilbride?). I knew It was going to be a frustrating second half when we went 3 and Out after three consecutive incompletions. I don't need a whole lot of Ammo to get me started and Coughlin's decision making process never fails to disappoint. It usually starts by taking too long to make a decision and then during the Real clutch moments after the O has almost run out of clock...Noonan! Nada. "You got nothing!"...Big D comes to town next week and WE'D BETTER BRINGIT!! All of us! 12th man like a you-know-what! "..Enthusiasms..Enthusiasms.(a pummeling w/ a louisville slugger later and we're in control off our destiny, Capice?)" -Deniro in The Untouchables..."I want Romo dead! I want Owens dead! I want 'howbout Dem Cowboys' DEAD!!! -Me GO BLUE! Gitsum payback. I'll holla'. WMS07
Posted by: W. M. Simms at November 5, 2007 1:17 AMthe cowboys were missing 3 starters in that game ... now we have a healthy secondary now we will just beat the little giants even worse .... i say dallas 34 giants 17
Posted by: mike at November 8, 2007 3:29 PMwhat? was my comment too long or too challenging. In the future I'll remember to keep them a lil' less long winded for those with short attention spans...late, Wms07. PS GO Big BLUE!!!!
Posted by: W. M. Simms at November 8, 2007 7:49 PMThe Cowboys will beat them as soundly as they did the 1st game. New York might be better but so are they. This team will be crying like Philly was. Time for that 2nd half meltdown that always seems to plague the G-girls
Posted by: Dallas will kill NY at November 10, 2007 7:53 AMThere is no chance the giants will be able to stop our offense. and with the addition of tank johnson to the line and henry coming back into the dime packages, our deffense is not being given the credit it deserves. and besides for a few stupid penalties against New England, we would have won that game. There is no way in hell that the giants will be able to stay with our offense and finally going up against a good offensive line will show that they are no where near as good as they think they are. they have beat nobody this year and come on eli had 59 yards against the worst team in the leauge. yeah, good luck with the loss giants fans. don't cry to hard
Posted by: at November 10, 2007 10:44 AMI appreciate detailed comments W.M. I'm just slow in approving things these days.
