Yesterday i wrote about how well Diehl is playing and how the draft "experts" are much much dumber than the average fan (me). Anyway, here we have an article giving Diehl some more love.
Unfortunately for Petigout, he got hurt again. The Giants clearly made the right move though I wasn't so sure at the time.
Posted by James Trotta at October 3, 2007 11:17 PMWell the defense has sorta arrived. Sacks are nice, but let's see some vs. the Boys or Favre's quick release. Kavika has shown up nicely with a tackle at the goalline and a fumble recovery and return for a td last week. I guess pressure is the cure-all. The secondary and the linebacker coverage becomes a whole hecukuva lot better when the opposing qb can not eat a sandwich back in the pocket. Romo can pick and choose and so can Brady and that's about it really. Can we start looking into picking up a real qb backup for the stretch drive. Cause we all know doughboy and the afro-american journeyman, name escapes me right now, aren't the answer. I've heard Phil's son queries. I would like Whitehurst from San Diego before Norv figures out that his starter isn't goiung to get 'er done. Is B. Jacobs gonna play again before Ward coughs it up? Gawd, Ward scares me the way he carries that ball. I spend the whole game knockin' wood. Feagles is still doing work. Just when I think he's losing his touch he nails two in a row like last week. If the special teams can keep pinning 'em deep they take alot of pressure of TC with those 3rd and 4th and short calls. Saw Gerris with a nice stick on KO coverage. Maybe he'll actually get to play defense again sometime soon. SI just had a story about LB's, the lighter and faster seems to be a trend. Let Gerris get some time..Is Torbor out of the loop? Way to go Amani, the new possession wr arrives!! Maybe sometime soon Shockey will reemerge and then we'll be clickin' on all cylinders. Late, Wms07
