Jim Finn's season over - Giants have a problem at fullback

Jim Finn won't be at the Giants' 3-Day Veteran Mini-Camp and he won't play for the Giants in 2007 as he's now on IR. He probably won't play on the Giants again.

Jessie Armstead retired a Giant, but Petigout sounds like he won't since he still has some bad feelings.

Speaking of former Giants, Hufnagel might go back to the CFL.

Jesse Armstead was a great player for us. He deserved to retire as a Giant.

James, off topic but don't you admire Mike Ditka for what he is trying to do for the forgotten past players of the NFL who have faltered physically and financially?

Jim Stuckey, who is a Clemson hall of fame player and has three Super Bowl rings from his playing days as defensive end for San Francisco is an acquantaince of mine. He is only a bit over 50, but you ought to see the scars on his knees. Jim has done very well over the years but he (and I think a lot of other ex players) think that the players association should step up to the plate to help others who haven't done well. They deserve a better fate.

What do you think?
