Things have been busy in my home and at Giants.com

I'm still recovering from my surgery, and my wife and I rescued our 6th stray Sunday night so my house is a busy place these days.

The Giants are also busy practicing and Giants.com gives us a few quotes in these articles, one on the defensive line and one on the offensive line.

Six strays? Dogs? Cats?...My wife took in a rescue dog last year and she got a new lease on life here at the farm. We have five horses, two dogs, and three cats. Now my wife is talking about taking in rescue horses. I have to admit it makes me feel good to know that some poor lost animals are getting a second chance.

As for the Giants, I am still not a fan of Coughlin, especially since he waited so long last year to make the needed coaching changes. I have tried to keep an open mind about him, having read and heard people say that Tiki was actually a divisive force the last couple of years, so I'm willing to give Coughlin the benefit of the doubt. This year is certainly his last chance.

There are a lot of question marks about how players are going to perform in the defensive secondary and the offensive line. In the end I think our offense has the ability to score a large number of points which may take some pressure off the defense.

6 strays, but we try to find homes for them. Or I try to find homes for them while my wife trys to talk me into adopting each of them...

I don't think anyone can be convinced Coughlin is right until he helps us win a superbowl. But you have the right attitutde regarding an open mind. You have to at least try to like the guys on your team (unless you're an Eagles fan).
