I was able to forget about the Giants so I had a wonderful Christmas day. However it may be a day or two before I can bring myself to blog about these quitters again. Anyway, merry Christmas everyone!
Posted by James Trotta at December 26, 2006 12:45 AMSO, IF WE BEAT THE REDSKINS AND JUST SAY THE PACKERS BEAT THE BEARS, WE NEED TO HAVE A BETTER "STRENGTH OF VICTORY" OVER THE REDSKINS THAN THE PACKERS OVER THE BEARS?????? IS THIS CORRECT?
DOES IT MATTER? HOW THE HELL IS THIS TEAM GOING TO BEAT THE REDSKINS ANYWAY?
THEY DIDN'T TAKE ONE SINGLE OFFENSIVE SNAP INSIDE THE SAINTS TERRITORY, CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS?
HOW COULD ERNIE BE SO WRONG ABOUT A NUMBER ONE OVERALL PICK? I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW BAD MANNING IS. WHAT DO WE DO NOW? THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL WE ARE BEATING THE REDSKINS SAT NIGHT.
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO THIS TEAM.......WE COULD BE LOOKING AT 10 YEARS BEFORE WE ARE COMPETITIVE AGAIN......
James, I feel your pain, but the giants season was lost several weeks ago. I think they will lose again against the Redskins and Coughlin will be gone.
He lost this team about midyear and it has been downhill since then. The players can say what they want, but their lack of discipline and heart have showed on the field. Manning has taken a step back in his progress this year and that can be directly related to coaching. The defense suffered most of the injuries which could be why they were the easiest team to score on in the red zone this year. THe defense would have survived if the offense would have done its job.
The game planning has been flawed and that is due to the coaching. Even Tiki commented on the giants being out-coached. Oh, they tried to put a positive spin on it, but with all the penalties and their lack of offensive production the coaching staff has not done well.
I see a new GM and then a new coach and staff coming on board. My only hope is that they do what the Jets did get someone young and hungry and not one of the old retread head coaches.
