Good thing you root for the team (not the players or coaches)

It's hard to root for Burress when the guy is a quitter. It's hard to root for Manning when the guy makes you wonder if J-Load can take over. It's hard to root for the coaches when they have too many flaws to list.

But it's easy to root for the Giants, even after blowing a 21 - 0 lead by giving up 24 in the 4th quarter. Only because I root for the team rather than the individuals can I hope these slackers kick some Cowboy ass next week and make the playoffs.

can someone please explain how a defensive end in the national football league can let a quarterback go on a 4th and 9 from their own 20 yard line? just let him go and not finish the tackle? i have never seen anything like this, EVER. can someone also explain what can possibly be going through this kid's mind when he's up 7 points and just hucks the ball on the run and throws A DUCK and gets picked off? I am literally going to throw up. i cannot believe the depths this team has sunken to. burress? i'm sick to my stomach.......

Well I vented just a second ago an I feel about the same. I say hang the jerseys & helmets up in the locker. Call the finish to the season an met back in Albany for camp. Frankly I'd rather be in Iraq getting shot at than be toutured an hurt here by the Giants playing ability here in the comfort of my own home. I expect Dallas to get some vengance on us for the loss we gave them & they'll wax us like a hardwood floor. I expect we can do good enough to lose by atleast 2 touchdowns!!! We may find a way to lose against Philly an the Skins as well. I'd wager if we played Detroit,Oakland an Arizona we'd struggle to win atleast one out of three of those. Well as a fan a Big thanks to Big Blue for finding another way to destroy hope an squash faith of your fan base. Tiki might not be popular for retiring according to us fans but the way they play I think he has the right idea.

It's not Coughlin's fault...this looked like that 70's game we lost where all we had to do was fall on the ball to save the win & instead Herm Edwards picked it up off the turf an ran in it to the endzone for the win. we couoldn't win for finding ways to lose. Great game is all i can say....way to play...Tennessee

Brian, I assume he thought the ball was away, and let go to avoid another 15yarder. Nothing else makes sense, and his head was down. What a debacle. Eli was a mess in the second half, and Tiki got the ball, did very little with it. Plax is a disease, and T Cough is not the cure. Ouch

Ok I'd like to hear any armchair QB out there give the solution to our teams woes...Esy to say Eli sucks, Plax is a half ass player an the coaches have little or no influence on the players an the game plan so after we all collectively piss an moan an hate whats happening can we do any better. I dont think so I just wish like everyone else this melt down were going on in Chicago or Dallas instead of here.

After seeing the 4th & 10 lowlight on ESPN it just confirms my opinion of the NFL.

NFL - National Fixed League.

Only in a fixed game can a tackle like that not happen. Only in a fixed game can the team go from players to posers. Only in a fixed game can Eli throw a passes like that.

I can see if this is college and these guys don't practice everyday and have to deal with schooling, frat parties and girls. But, these are people who live and breath this stuff and get paid a lot of money to do so. It's like missing a damn freethrow...shouldn't be allowed.

This whole team should be fined for 3rd degree eye slaughter. Most weeks I'm all bunched up because Big Blue is not on TV (I'm on the west coast). But I'm glad this one wasn't. I just heard the Giants are still a Wildcard. Trust me....that will change in a hurry.

I've been a fan for over 20 years and Eli reminds me of those sucky days of Kerry Collins and Dave Brown.

Way to go Eli. Is it to late to trade you back to the Chargers?

Either wake up and play like the high priced first rounder you were supposed to be or sit your ass down on the bench.

As unbelievable as this sounds, in the middle of his third year, we need to sit this little baby down. how is this kid going to deal with the media blitz today when the talk shows are going to crucify him while he's getting ready for dallas. i hate this entire team right now from the water boy to tiki. they can all go to hell....

i still here a lot of griping but no solutions...I hate the losing as well but the season will keep chugging along an either we'll be pulled under an ground up or we'll climb aboard an ride to the finish. Personally i hope it's the later, but I've just seen to many melt downs by the G-Men to hold out much hope.

RC, my solutions all involve flamethrowers. until we get routed by the Tunas this week I will keep them to myself.

I long for the days of Mendenhal, Lockhart, Gregory, Van Pelt, Carson, Banks, Reasons, Simms, Bavaro. Those were GIANTS and they left their blood and guts on the field every week, unlike these selfish, immature, back stabbing, INSUBORDINATE 12 year old's. They can all go to hell including #21. I'm sick of him popping off about Coughlin. If it weren't for coach Coughlin this guy would still be fumbling the ball all over the field. Retire already you RINGLESS, over hyped 3rd down specialist. Yeah, that's right, I said RINGLESS, OVER HYPED, 3RD DOWN SPECIALIST. Joe Morris he is not. That guy played to WIN and didn't pop off about his coaching staff. Barber couldn't carry Joe Morris's jock. Shut the fuck up and get 180 Sunday vs. Dallas.
