Pierce and Giants linebackers
We've got an article on Pierce's leadership of not only the Giants linebackers, but the entire defense. Tim Lewis thinks that Pierce has the mind it takes to become a defensive coordinator in the NFL.
Then we've got a master of the obvous type article that says Emmons, Pierce, and Arrington backed up by Wilkinson, Short, Blackburn, and Torbor is better than Nick Greisen, Alonzo Jackson and Kevin Lewis backed up by Jay Foreman and Marcus Lawrence.
Moving to the defensive line, we have a few interesting quotes from a cofident Osi Umenyiora.
Tim Lewis reminds us that sometime the opposing offense will run the ball. That's why I like the Giants big linebackers, with Arrington making me especially hopeful that we can knock some runningbacks back on their butts.
