An update on Arrington with no new news?
Really this is nothing new, but it does shoot down some speculation and rumors. Basically, Joey in VA, now my favorite BBI person emailed a Washington Post reporter and learned that the Giants made an offer to Arrington a few weeks ago. That offer hasn't changed.
Right now, it seems that Arrington is thinking things over and hoping more money will come from somewhere else. Anyone who said that Arringotn was close to signing must have been reading his mind...

They made an offer that makes sense capwise wghile also realizing that he has some "personality issues" hanging over his head right now and this is a year when teams particularly are not interested in taking chances with bad publicity (see Owens, Terrell and Culpepper, Daunte). I think we end up getting him for the price we want and he plays pissed off and lights people up all year.
(Or...we don't and draft Bobby Carpenter.)
