Giants offense vs. Cardinals defense

Steve Serby writes that "the straw that stirs the big blue drink" will be the team leader Sunday against the Cardinals. Getting the team fired up may be easier now that people are beginning to expect less from the Giants. Why does it seem like they play well when people expect them to fail but play poorly when people expect them to thrive?

Anyway, the Giants might be without Petigout according to Paul Schwartz. Coughlin said that Winey played OK in relief. As I wrote back in August, signing a legitimate backup left tacke was a very smart move. O'Hara should be able to play, so the Giants offensive line will be serviceable if not at full strength. As everyone can see, the Giants line has done a much better job run blocking than pass blocking and this can be used in the Arizona game as they have big trouble stopping the run.

I don't know what will happen to Warner, but I believe the Giants will be able to run and this would be a good opportunity to use more play action pass than the Giants have been. And if Miami can run against Arizona, you have to believe the Giants will run against Arizona.

I hope you guys can run, since I took Tiki as one of my Gridiron Challenge RBs this week.

I think you made a good choice. Tiki is hot and the Arizona run defense is not.
