Inside Football suggests that Torbor's improvement on special teams is creating room for Jack Brewer and David Tyree. This will be an important matchup against Chicago as their return teams have big play potential, expecially considering Christie's short kickoffs. They figure the best the Giants should hope for is to limit the Bears to starting on their own 35; concede the 30 but avoid a really long return.
The Giants are in better shape on punts, as feagles continues to play well. Neil Best describes the play that Tyree and Deloatch made on a Feagles punt which was the best special teams play the Giants have made in a long time. Tyree earned NFC Special teams player of the week honors. Mike Garafolo also has an article on Tyree.
I think that the Bears will have trouble putting points on the board on offense, so if our special teams play well we should win the game. The Giants return game needs to improve. Anthony Reiber credits Cloud with good kickoff returns (21.9 yard average return), but the Gaints don't seem closer to breaking a long return with their short yardage back handling kickoffs.
