ESPN suspends one of their few good analysts
This is more baseball news than football, but with ESPN kind of dominating sports news everyone should know about this.
ESPN has suspended Scott Van Pelt, one of the very few ESPN guys that doesn’t suck completely, for ripping Bud Selig on his radio show in response to Selig making $18+ million last season. From what I heard, Van Pelt was spot on.
Apparently ESPN pays these guys to dance around corporate toes and if someone has an actual opinion and steps on those corporate toes… No wonder ESPN hires so many friggin idiot analysts who spew nothing but crap and seem to know less than the average fan.
What we sports fans need is something much better than the crap ESPN tries to feed us daily.
