      Canty not playing against Cowboys

      According to Ralph V and the Blue Screen, Canty won’t be playing against the Cowboys. He may miss more time. Amazing how quickly a strong position gets thin (now that we’ve lost Alford and Canty needs to miss at least one game).

        Alford was more of a loss than we realize, if camp was any indication. This was going to be a breakout year for him. He spent the off season with Osi, and learned how to get out of the blocks much, much more quickly. Darn good thing JR signed Rocky Bernard, and that Cofield and Robbins look like they’ve recovered from off season surgery. If Canty comes back week after next, then we’re good to go at DT. If not, then we’ve got late season issues similar to last season unless JR pulls another rabbit out of the hat off somebody’s practice squad.
