NFL-Giants: NY Giants football news

In 2007 we were 6-2. Then the Giants lost 31-20 to the Cowboys and 41-17 to the Vikings. A few weeks later it was the Redskins turn to embarrass us. We barely make the Playoffs (it takes a come from behind win against the Bills.

We go on to win the Super Bowl.

Of course there have also been seasons where the humiliating losses kept coming. Let’s turn this thing back in the right direction. I especially want to see our defense start beating guys physically again. I’d also love to see a running game that we stick to all game but I’d settle for a franchise QB who stops sucking.

With the return of Osi to the Giants defensive line (not counting the addition of Canty or Boley for obvious reasons) the Giants defense was supposed to get better. The only question mark was the new defensive coordinator.

This Mike Garafolo article doesn’t come out and say Sheridan sucks but it does present a pretty big problem when Sheridan says he didn’t know there was a communication problem on the Giants defense. Like Mike G. says, you see the Giants players looking around confused as fullbacks rip them for big gains and receivers run around uncovered…

Another poor defensive game and more bad play from the QB position. The 2 things I can’t stand.

Why we can’t have consistently good play from our Super Bowl winning franchise QB who takes up a huge chunk of cap space is beyond me.

I do understand that we have no speed at linebacker cause Boley is out and no talent at safety cause Phillips is out. But I don’t understand why our defensive lineman get plain beat at the line of scrimmage or why we have trouble tackling…

Frustrating 3 games for Giants fans, that’s for sure.
