    • Media day: Giants coaches talk

Giants.com has coverage of media day interviews with Giants’ coaches.

I was interested in what Kevin Gilbride had to say because like many Giants fans I never really though he was a permanent solution at offensive coordinator. Well helping the Giants win a Super Bowl sure changed my mind…

Of course you’ll have to put up with some silly questions. Liek who’s the genius who came up with this one:

Q: Entering training camp you pretty much know you have Plaxico (Burress) and Amani (Toomer) as your receivers. Then you have three young guys that are going to be competing for a lot of snaps – Steve Smith, Sinorice Moss and Mario Manningham. Is that competition between the young guys going to help them become better football players?

Isn’t it pretty obvious that competing (in other words working harder) will make them better?

But there is interesting stuff in there too and I don’t see too much other Giants’ news coming out so take a look.
