      Who wishes we had drafted a LT?

      A lot of draft experts slammed the Giants for not drafting a left tackle. I called them out on this site for being idiots.

      Meanwhile David Diehl comes out and shuts down trent Cole (1 tackle, 1 assist, zero sacks). People just don’t get the simple fact that rookies don’t come in and play LT better than vets (see Gallery, Robert).

        very cool to take accountablility. Don’t beat yourself up, though. Everyone was down on the D, too. But I think over the course of the season, it will play very well.

        I have forever supported David Diehl … He is my favorite NFL player out of everyone and I kept watching him Sunday and thinking these people are crazy for saying he couldn’t handle Trent Cole.
