    • Stop playing pass happy football and Merry Christmas

First let me make a confession – I’m not watching the Giants Bills game. I’m in Munich on vacation and it’s beautiful (though cold) here. Somehow I don’t think the Giants Bills game will be as awesome as Munich at Christmas time…

Actually, I think it won’t be the right kind of ugly. I want to see ugly smash mouth football instead of ugly throw the ball 54 times in the cold when your QB and receivers are all struggling football. Seriously, fire Coughlin. Fire Gilbride. It can’t be that hard to find someone who will make the offensive calls that you have to make to win in December with our running game.

But for those of you watching the game I hope it’s a happy few hours. And for everyone Merry Christmas!

How profound. Hopefully they will continue to use the running game.

As a Soldier who served in Germany only a few Christmas’ ago I too must agree with you on the beauty and chilly temp of Munich. Snow Flakes so big you can almost see the intricate features on each one of them. Beats Lower Alabama…Bermuda shorts and tank top with sandals and bar b que grill isnt my idea of a white Christmas.
Now for the G-Men I see a different perspective. Aside from the Patriots game which I tab as a loss, only because we play at home, (which has been abysmal this season) I think we can get to the Superbowl and win. I mean what is the road to this team but a positive. Sure we might lose yet another player to a broken leg but if the damage is minimal then we might pull it off & what then is a perfect regular season record if you lose in the playoffs?(New England) My concern is more toward the next season and draft. Our current roster and injured players. The recent additions of K. Mitchell and A. Bradshaw have seemed to have proven there worth. I am worried Shockey may want to grow wings and fly the coop. Look at the season Whitten is having. Was it so long ago that Shockey was the premier TE? Ward is kicking butt, Droughns however may just make our offense top heavy where money would be better spent on more d-line men or secondary help. Moss & Tyree got to get on the field an contribute. Toomer is a veteran and has earned a roster spot in my eye’s but maybe I am being just sentimental.
Coaching… Geez’ are we talking about Coaching? For Real Coaching? Well, sure fire Coughlin. Then what go to the college ranks (yeah that’s proven to be a success ie. Erikson, Holtz, Spurrier, Petrino, Saban)? Who out there has he Cojones’ to do the job? Who out there has the experience to deal with a city like New York? I hate to say it but the problem may not be coaching so much as something ELse or should I say, Eli.
        (& I want him to do well?#@!)
        Anyway Happy Holidays to All.
