Manning leads the Giants to victory, sort of – Ward injured
The Giants won, but it was at times a hard game to watch thanks to a couple of interceptions from Manning. Do we give him credit for playing well the last few minutes of the game or do we flame him for sucking before that?
Now you can argue that the wide receivers aren’t all that great with Plax hurting, but the running game and offensive line are decent so I think we can expect better than average from our franchise QB, #1 draft pick that we traded a bundle for…
The defense played pretty well though had trouble closing the deal on the Bears last drive. Still all but 3 of the Bears 16 points were the result of turnovers. Nice to finally see some good D but not sure I enjoy watching Eli much these days…
Injury news: The Giants probably lost Ward for the season with a broken leg.

For four years I have been a staunch supporter of Eli’s. It is true, Our WR’s are not getting much separation, but it’s more about Eli’s timing at this point, and I will admit this is the first week I have really started to lose a little faith in him.
I do think it’s important not to diminish what Eli does bring to the table — WINS. We were playing a very good D on the road, and it was mentioned that the endzone INT probably should have been caught by Plax. When he’s healthy, he doesn’t fade away from a jump ball.
Either way, I’m sticking with Eli, but he has a lot to prove in these next two division games about his consistency.

Just wanted to drop a line and Give Eli some props. The fact that the refs/Booth had to review Amani’s catch for that long was a joke. Anybody else sick to death of Joe Buck like me? His father came up in radio and knew when a moment should be a moment. Unfortunately this has obviously hasn’t been placed along genetically speaking…Does he ever shut up? I take issue with b Co’s previous statement lauding Plaxico. “When healthy…”….addendum: When healthy and hot and hungry he catches that ball maybe. I harken back to the collapse vs. the Titans last year, when Pac-Man got two picks vs. Plax and the last one P. B. quit on outright..Where’s Mix or Nix? wore #19 in pre-season, good size, decent hands..If we are going to start using special teams guys in the clutch. Sit Plax til he gets healthy and call the development squad. Go big Blue! Eli. You earned a wee bit of a break from yours truly..keep it up. -wms07

Just as the ball hit, somebody turned around and said “Touchdown”
And of course, it is going to be easy. And it is going to be so much better, when its touchdown after touchdown. And we will lay the scores down plain and simple.
And we’re gonna get there, with all that we can get. We must punish them Cowboys tommorrow. And there will be a rainbow on their shoulder. And they will be crying. Cause they will be missing an angel,in winning this game…
And while they are looking around for a shout. We are going to have it right in the palm of our hands, for another “Touchdown” thats a cute way of talking. And we are going to feel like dancing the night away, after the game…
Studdard steppping, shaking some bootie. Swinging the ball around in circles, in the air, do this for me, Giants…
Our teams grows, year by year. And can’t nobody do it like we do. You know what I mean?
Keep up the good work. And we will chase the clouds away, for a Season that will be in our favor.
I know it is going to be hard to chase N.E. away. But we don’t have to stand around and try to figure that out. Cause things are going to be alright…
We are going to let it all hang out. And being mighty, all mighty, will forfill our structures.
Stay strong!
Yours Truly
