Yeah - the defense was encouraging and the offense was decent against a strong Ravens team. Jennings was playing real well that game until he got hurt...

I have a Giant fan for a long time. One thing I have noticed lately is the puzzling, and demoralizing, negativity that permeates the reporting about the Giants. I watched a little bit of the first half of that game and most of the second half.

Yes, there were injuries. Were they all that serious? A few players will miss some games. A WR named Jennings is lost for the season. I had never heard Jennings' name before he got hurt. How serious of a loss is he?

Also, why is no one talking about how well Grant and Bradshaw played at running back? I know Bradshaw was playing against the Raven's second string, but he looked FAST. He reminded me of Joe Morris when Morris was a rookie.

I hope Bradshaw gets a chance to make the club. I hope they recognize the football talent and don't treat him the way they treated Morris when he was new to the team. They found every reason in the world not to play Morris-- he doesn't catch passes, he doesn't block well, yadda yadda yadda. Then they let him carry the ball... zoom. Suddenly for the first time I could remember, the Giants had someone on offense that other teams were afraid of.

My overally point, while we are finding reasons to be disappointed in the Giants/Ravens game, lets remember there were encouraging points as well.
