Feeley signing with Miami leaving Giants with Josh Huston
The Giants continue to frustrate fans by losing players and not signing anyone new. Now that Feeley is going to Miami, Ernie palladino says we’ve made a mistake, while Ralph Vacchiano explains why we shouldn’t count on Josh Huston.
For the optimists out there, Mike Garafolo says we are still looking to sign players (at least we haven’t given up!). LB Donnie Edwards, RB Dominic Rhodes, CB Rod Hood, and S Deon Grant all get a mention.

While I don’t have much hope for this upcoming season, I do think it’s good we’re not overspending for overrated bums. Aside from Nate Clements, who would have been a nice addition to backfield, I’ve not been overly impressed with the free agents out there.
Leonard Davis played for the Cardinals. They suck. He sucks. I can’t wait until next year when Osi runs around that immobile bust and blindsides Romo right onto the IR.
I still haven’t forgiven Feely for his immortal choke job in Seattle 2 years ago, so I can’t say I’m overly sad to see him go.
Kevin Curtis might be a good replacement for Tim Carter, who can’t catch a cold, but the guy wants to play for the Lions, which leads me to believe he’s insane.
A lot of the rest are either too old (Edwards or Joe Horn), washed up (Jamal Lewis) or aren’t good fits (tell me McGahee would have been happy splitting time), although Rhodes might be.
I would have liked them to keep Petitgout, but I guess they have no faith in him staying healthy.
Either way, The Giants will be mediocre this year, anyway. Coughlin’s done and there’s no Tiki to cover for his lack of imagination and lousy playcalling. I think we’re just waiting for Bill Cowher or John Fox to become available.

Is it me or is every other true Giant fan feeling like Jerry just isn’t getting the job done. I was SO excited when free agency began thinking, since our first draft pick isn’t until 20th, I’m SURE we’ll be doing some serious work on the free agency market. After hearing for a week how all these other teams have swooped in for the kill just drives a knife in my heart when it seems we have don NOTHING! I live about 6 minutes from Deion Sanders and I really considering asking HIM for help. What’s UP???

I think that is messed up that you guys let tiki go, we all the real reason he left. Coughlin, he is a terrible coach and he is the reason why we make it to the playoffs with all the injuries.Tiki said it best at the pro bowl! This year would be interesting to see ow it will go and end up with out tiki and with Coughlin still calling the shots! They should gace tiki more money!!!!!!!! he was worth it,kept him and got rid of Coughlin!!!!!

Giant on enemy turf…I couldnt agree more. I watched ESPN until 130 AM the night free agency opened expecting the Giants to be the FIRST team to make an explosive impact deal. Especially after dropping Emmons and Arrington, I though Lance Briggs, Joey Porter or Cato June would be in a Giants uniform by the next morning. To top things off, we penny pinch on a serious offer to Dominic Rhodes, watch Travis Henry, Willis McGahee and Thomas Jones go to new teams and the best we can do is trade for Reuben Droughns. What happened to the change of pace back? This offseason has been pathetic. Reese must see a lot of NFL-ready starting-caliber players coming out of the draft because I cant think of any other excuse for this.
