    • Losing sucks, but the Dallas loss doesn’t hurt as bad…

The Giants 23-20 loss to Dallas hurts, but sometimes you lose to a last second field goal. It happens.

It shouldn’t have. Our kickoffs / kickoff coverage shouldn’t be giving Dallas such nice field position. Our play calling shouldn’t be so hard to understand. The defense should give up a 40+ yard completion to the tight end at the end of the 4th quarter. When it’s 1st and goal we should usually get a TD.

Well I’m not as emotional as I usaully am when Dallas gets a win against the G-Men but like you said this wasn’t such a massive collapse. I think Eli made some real improvement an TIki & Shockey both appeared to step up there game. I think about the only real gripe I have is Tom Coughlin an his over emphatic emotions on the sideline looking disgusted with penalty calls made for an against us. If Plaxico can continue to put on the performance he did this evening an we continue to add Brandon Jacobs to the offense we’ll be in a much better position to win. Now my concerns are in Charlotte if we didn’t see this as a must win then what is next wek. The Panthers are improving for the most part an we are going down this is season saing forget playoffs we lose we’re done. New Orleans will be in the Meadowlands soon enough we can ill afford anymore losses.

The next time we get a first down inside the five yard line I would like to see Brandon Jacobs three times. I don’t think he can be stopped three times in a row. After he scores a few like that then you can slip in a pass now and then just to change things up.

A loss is a loss, no matter how you try to dress it up.
Our team still gets too many penalties (especailly personal fouls), the defense is still prone to total collapse by the second half, and a good game by our quaterback is consdidered “improvement”.
Our team is plagued by selfish, overrated, undisciplined crybabies and predictable play-calling.
We’ll be lucky to make it to the playoffs as a wild card.

Can anyone hear the fat lady singing? The fat lady is singing because the G-men have thrown away another season of football. Oh, the offense did show some signs of life and the defense played respectable until the final minute of play when they let Witten catch a 42 yd bomb behind coverage, but the collapse is complete.

The giants will not make the playoffs and there is a chance that Coughlin might lose his job. The man who is big on discipline has not be able to keep the g-men from committing penalties at an alarming rate. Yesterday the g-men committed 4 personal fouls and at least 2 false starts and they were playing at home!

Dallas is not a better team that the giants, they are simply better coached and yesterday they showed it.

So for us long time giants fans who have seen thistype of season happen all to often…we’ll be looking forward to draft day.

      5. Tom Says:

Have to agree with most of the comments. This team is not disiplined, and thats the coaches.dont expect more than two more wins from this crew unless we start clicking on defense, and someone work with the rookie please, he has got all the tools, needs to get his head straight!

we are going to run the table starting next sunday at carolina, revenge is sweet. we will finish up 10-6. i see the kid yesterday and it looks to me like the light went on and with #92 coming back and the addition of moss on offense this could be a magical run. no, i’m not crazy, i see this team putting all this negativity asside and running the table. dallas, chicago, seattle, all teams we have pay back coming to in the playoffs. i trully believe this, wait and see this team in carolina next week.

      7. Tom Says:

I have to disagree and say that a loss on a last minute field goal is almost worse than if the Giants were to get blown out 40-0. In a game like this one against the Cowboys, the Giants can say they could have and should have won, as they were the better team in my mind. At least in a game that is 40-0 you can admit that the other team is better than you are, and move on from there. None the less, a loss is a loss, and the Giants season is over. Coughlin is simply not the right coach for this group of players, and in the offseason a decision has to be made by management – Coughlin or the players on the roster currently? In my mind it is a no brainer – get rid of Coughlin!

      8. robert carter sr Says:

Brain I’m glad to see atleast there a re some true fans here. I dont mean the fair weather type that have 49er’s or Cowboy’s jerseys an sweats tucked in the back of there closet to wear later…like they had no fatih in big blue to begin with
I like you saw a glimpse faint as it might be a glimpse still of what we can accomplish. A win in Charlotte is crucial, an afterward we beat Philly we’ll hold tie breakers over Atlanta Carolina & will have swept Philly. I’m pulling or anyone against Dallas this weekend & hope we can get the East back as well so all you haters can pout an shovel snow until draft day as for me I think the Giants are due for a Giant turn of luck. Go Big Blue.
